Beechwood Manor is an innovative Retirement Centre that has been providing quality Assisted Living since 1984 and is proud to have added 35 Independent Suites in 2012.
Situated on a beautifully landscaped property, Beechwood backs directly onto a lovely community park where you can safely walk and enjoy nature. There are also many comfortable patios & decks where you can enjoy the outdoors.
Beechwood is close to beautiful downtown Waterloo, as well as many shopping areas. We are fortunate to have a bus stop at the front door and of course are fully accessible.
You can be assured that whether you are looking for assisted care, including 24 hour nursing supervision, medication administration and all meals & snacks provided, or living independently with the comfort of having two meals per day, weekly housekeeping & laundry as well as an emergency nurse call system, we would be pleased if you find Beechwood a “place to call home”.
Beechwood Manor takes pride in providing amenities for our residents to enjoy living in a comfortable, secure environment. Residents can take advantage of the many amenities located throughout the building, perhaps spending a quiet afternoon reading in one of the comfortable lounges, or taking a walk around the beautiful grounds.
Recreation and individual programs are planned under the guidance of our Director of Recreation. Activity programs are flexible and incorporate the residents’ interests and talents to encourage socialization, activation, and independence. Attractive and nourishing meals are provided under the direction of our Food Service Supervisor. Meals are served in a spacious, cheery dining room. Special attention is given to the provision of the therapeutic diets ordered by the physician and alternative choices are available daily.
